The Red Hart Inn - Blaisdon, Longhope

The Red Hart Inn is a family owned free-house located on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Dean.

The traditional bar area has flagstone floors and oak beams with a wood burner which helps to create a welcoming atmosphere. Dogs are also welcome in the bar area. Outside we have a large beer garden and childrens play area. On the patio we host barbecues on Saturday nights throughout summer (weather permitting).

We serve good home cooked food seven days a week, our ingredients are sourced locally and we even rear our own pigs.

The Red Hart Inn is included in the 2012 good pub guide, and has been accredited LocAle status by CAMRA. We serve four real ales and a cider on hand pull, and regularly use local breweries.

In addition to our fine beers, we have a great wine list offering wines from around the World.

Busy pub with some interesting bric-a-brac in attractive rooms, popular bar food and several real ales Always bustling and cheerful, this village inn has a good mix of chatty locals and visitors.
Good Pub Guide Review

We dined at the Red Hart twice while staying in Longhope - The Reception, Staff and meals were first class. I believe the owner is Sharon and certainly made me happy with her comments -- should we be in the area again we shall certainly call and dine again.

We love this pub and the food, very much looking forward to the next visit.
